President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi commented on the appearance and expressed his gratitude to everyone in the world who reacted to this Russian step.
This was discussed in the President’s evening address on November 5.
“And who reacted not only with words, but because of this, is preparing appropriate actions to support our defense here in Ukraine,” he said.
Zelenskyi also reminded that terror has the ability to spread, so countermeasures should be correspondingly strong.
“It can spread like a virus when it does not meet sufficient resistance. Now the resistance must become sufficient. Strong enough. The first battles with North Korean soldiers open a new page of instability in the world. Together with the world, we must do everything so that this Russian step to expand the war, on a real escalation – so that his move becomes a losing one. Both for him and for North Korea. It will be recalled that earlier the head of the Center for Combating Disinformation Andriy Kovalenko reported that Russian instructors are training North Korean soldiers and officers to fly drones in Kurshchyna.

“We must direct all the resources of our state in such a way that Ukrainian tasks are achieved,” Zelensky emphasized.
The President announced that he held a long meeting: the military command, the government. Central Committee, General Staff, Ministry of Defense, at the same time – Prime Minister, Innovations and Technologies, Minister of Strategic Industry, Security Service of Ukraine, GUR and Foreign Intelligence Service.
Also, a lot was decided today regarding the issues of our diplomacy. According to Zelenskyi, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, they discussed candidacies of ambassadors of Ukraine for vacant positions in the respective countries, and discussed the results of the work of our diplomats. We are preparing replacements and appointments.
